David Thomas Chunn is a professional author pursuing acting roles in film and television. He grew up on a cotton farm in Lower Alabama and attended the University of Alabama. After college, he became a novelist, publishing over a dozen science fiction and fantasy books under a pseudonym.These days, writing as David Thomas Chunn, he’s turned his focus to thriller and detective fiction. A fan of analog tools, he plots his stories on index cards and writes them on a 1960s Olympia SG3 typewriter as much as possible.Whenever needed, he can call on his background for authentic Southern dialects. While he enjoys playing all kinds of characters, he’s especially drawn to roles that demand intensity and nuance. As someone who’s spent years building characters from the inside out, he brings that same meticulous approach and psychological depth to every performance. Known for his dedication and work ethic, David loves the challenge of bringing complex characters to life.
